Single tooth restoration of a lateral incisor with horizontal bone augmentation in the maxilla

  • 1. Initial situation with fistula buccal of the left lateral incisor due to long axis fracture
  • 2. Periapical radiograph
  • 3. Situation 8 weeks after extraction
  • 4. A horizontal bone defect is evident
  • 5. 3.3 diameter implant in place. Buccal dehiscency defect
  • 6. Lateral bone augmentation with mp3<sup>®</sup> and bone Lamina
  • 7. The Lamina has been adapted to the defect and secured with two titanium pins buccall
  • 8. Wound closure. Only one distal releasing incision was performed
  • 9. Postoperative x-ray
  • 10. 1 week postoperatively healing was uneventful
  • 11. Second stage surgery and removal of the 2 pins 3 months after the surgery was perfomed minimally invasively, without raising a flap
  • 12. Situation prior to the restorative phase
  • 13.  Zirconia abutment in place
  • 14.  X-ray 4 months after implant placement
  • 15.  Final result 1 year after placement of the final all-ceramic restoration
