OsteoBiol® is the family of biomaterials produced by Tecnoss® for bone regeneration in implant dentistry.
Launched in year 2000, OsteoBiol® performance and safety have been documented by more than 300 international publications.

Our Mission
"To produce a xenogenic bone substitute as similar as possible to autogenous bone"

Our innovative technology
OsteoBiol® biomaterials are inspired by nature.
The precious xenogenic collagen is preserved within each biomaterial.
The innovative technology behind Dual-Phase bone substitutes retains both the collagen and the mineral phase. Their biological properties make these biomaterials biocompatible and ideal for grafting and augmentation purposes.
This technology preserves collagen, maintains the natural structure of hydroxyapatite, avoids ceramization, making the bone substitute similar to autogenous bone (the Gold Standard for bone regeneration).
All these factors make OsteoBiol® bone substitutes gradually resorbable and replaced by newly formed bone, which is fundamental for long-term implant stability.

The advantages of a collagenic biomaterial
Human bone is comprised of minerals and organic matter, most of which is collagen. Scientific studies and laboratory tests proved that the OsteoBiol® collageninc bone matrix is chemically and physically similar to natural human bone.
The inorganic matrix provides a mechanical support for osteogenic cells, while collagen
- stimulates the formation of new blood vessels
- plays a key role during new bone formation
With a composition similar to autogenous bone and the respect for the biological rules regulating bone healing, OsteoBiol® collagenic bone matrix is today's cutting-edge biomaterial for guided bone regeneration.
