1. A female patient shows a buccal fistula on the left lateral incisor due to long-axis fracture
2. The periapical radiograph shows a long-axis fracture of the left lateral incisor
3. Situation eight weeks after extraction
4. A horizontal bone defect is evident
5. A 3.3-mm diameter implant is placed. A buccal dehiscency defect is evident
6. The bone is augmented with mp3® and Lamina®
7. Lamina® is adapted to the defect and secured with two titanium pins buccally
8. Wound closure. Only one distal releasing incision is performed
9. Post-operative x-ray
10. After one week, the post-operative healing is uneventful
11. Second stage surgery. The removal of the two pins three months after the surgery is perfomed minimally invasively, without raising a flap
12. The clinical view shows the situation prior to the restorative phase
